Welcome to the home of the International Preparatory School Library. This collection of pages supports three main themes: information literacy, research assistance, and reading resources. Information literacy-the ability to find, use, and evaluate information--is a key skill for all citizens to have in order to be able effectively participate in our society. Secondly, the ability to use research tools such as databases to find credible sources is an important skill for students' success in college and for informed citizens to be able to locate the information they need for numerous purposes. Third, a wealth of reading resources are provided to enable readers of all levels and backgrounds find literature that supports their needs or interests. With those goals in mind, the library has curated materials to connect students and their families with the resources they need to become successful, informed, and active participants in high school and their post-secondary pursuits. Finally, the library always seeks collaborations with teachers to support instructional initiatives throughout our school. Whether students need help selecting a book, research assistance, or instruction in database usage, the International Preparatory School Library can meet their needs.
